There is so much magic happening with just 4 cards, and the sheer impossibility of it never fails to blow minds. It is captivating, and has a strong emotional hook, just like Magician Versus Gambler does. But men really like it too, probably more for the sleight of hand than the romance aspect. This is particularly popular with women because it is a love story. Done smoothly, it conveys the impression that you are a world-class card manipulator (even if, like me, you really aren't) i like the challenge aspect, and the fact that the magician emerges triumphantly victorious in the face of the challenge, just when it looks like he has failed. People love it, and often ask for it again or request that I do it for friends and/or family when they return to the bar at a later date, or when I see them at repeat bookings.

It's a great story, filled with drama and intrigue, and a lot of action. Most people, even though they have seen magicians before, have never seen anything like it. Then they are stunned to see that the card is up there. Fourth, it is just flat out fun to do! When you throw the rubber-banded deck up at a 10 foot ceiling and that sucker sticks, and you catch the rest of the deck cooly with the rubber band still around it, well it's a real high, and practically everybody in the place turns to look and see what all the excitement is about.
